I have to go on a picnic now which should be fun so I can’t write much.
Yesterday we all went on a great bush walk and Zandy and I found vine swings that would hold our weight.

Too tired to write now. Quite late.
Did well at the Lusk Club Home with my dancing.
Tomorrow I will try to write.
I love little kids. Today after my 5km run I went over to play with 4 yr old Charlotte and 2 yr old Alexandra.
Had a great time with them.
When I got home I had to make all of my dance for tomorrow since last night we watched a funny movie called Best In Show. It’s hard to do and very tiring. Especially it’s hard to remember but I can always improvise, the old ladies won’t know!
Finally I have the time and strength to write a nice recount of my day today. We woke late today nine o’clock, however in Australian time it was seven which is when we usually wake. Since cross country is coming up I promised dad I would train everyday here, though yesterday I couldn’t because of my online weekly chat with Alice, my friend from America.
After getting dressed quickly we set off down Craggy Range Road (a famous winery) I ran with dad ahead of mom; while Roger and Di walked along in front since they left early. Of course we soon over took them especially since Roger was taking photos of the scenery.
Oh and what scenery! Everyone says New Zealand is beautiful but you cannot possibly tell just how much this is so without actually running down a country road, breathing the morning air and feasting your eyes on scenic hills and tree covered slopes.
This is the view from our outdoor dining area. Isn’t it beautiful? We are situated on a hill above the quite large Tuki Tuki River which you can see at the bottom of the photo.
My favourite thing about this is the path that you can walk by down alongside the river. Stunning scenery and lovely trees and plants are commonplace here. The path is quite long and we have ranged only part of it’s way, though a fair way it was that we did. I love it there, so much to be explored such beauty!
Anyway enough of my ramblings about the scenery. Altogether we ran 5km and part of that -almost all actually- was up an incline. before we turned around after two and a half km we had to struggle up a very steep hill. What a view up there! Anyway I’m feeling quite confident that I have enough endurance to take on the three km that I need to do for my Cross Country carnival.
Once we had finished running I took a swim in the pool which was quite cold but I think may have been heated a bit. There were bees around it so you had to get in the water pretty fast. I spent most of my time jumping in and generally having a good time while mom swan laps of breaststroke never once putting her head underwater, though it did get wet.
This is a photo of some of the pool with the deck chairs and the pavillion. It still has the cover on, in case you were thinking that was water. The poor quality is due to the fact that this is taken with my inbuilt computer camera as is the other one.
Then I washed my hair and made a banana smoothie which was delicious (as usual if i do say so myself)!
From there we set off to Napier, which is the major city around here. We walked around for a while and I bought a pad of art paper and some faber-castell pencils some of which had mysteriously disappeared from my old set. The clouds were so pretty today I hope they are tomorrow so I can draw them (or sketch really) and then take them so when I get home I can do it with water colours.
Also I bought a rainjacket from urban angel that was nice and had a unsatisfactory lunch.
Luckily dad promised to take me to minigolf and mom came too. We did the Deco Drive course. I love minigolf though it took a while to get the hang of it since I hadn’t done it in a while. Actually we were all pretty bad. When we tallied the core though I came last by three strokes dad cam second and mom surprisingly because she never seems o do these things came first two strokes to dad five to me. Pretty close game! I’m happy though because even if I did come last it was fun and I was the only one who got a hole-in-one which means I had the best shot of the day. Yay!
Yesterday we had my grandparents and something or rather relative (my grandmas cousin once removed) - who is driving around New Zealand on his motorbike- over for dinner and she asked if I would like to dance- ballet of course- for the old ladies in the home on Wednesday and also of course I said yes. Now I have to choreograph something by then. I’ll try to get half way tonight.
This was a long blog post but they’re fun to write and there was lots to report.
The 20th was a nice day.
First we went to the Farmers Market and bought things to stock up the pantry.
Then we ate lunch at the Cheese Factory.
I need to go running now training.
I’m too tired to write anything. Tomorrow I will continue with my blog since I have internet connection.
Although I had a lovely day of building cubbies planned and botanical research it was raining so that was not possible. No I don’t like doing cubbies inside much. Anyway the rain made everything feel quite unpleasant and soggy so that I was a bit grumpy at having to go to moms work for a bit. All the same my time there passed reasonably fast and it was in less than two hours that I got back home.
Today I have chatted to quite a few people, which I enjoy doing. But most of all I have danced and cartwheels, done handstand and roundoffs. Basically gymnastics and ballet. Sharon was on and it gave me much pleasure to video some short ones and send them to her. Dancing mostly, ballet, jazz and contemporary.
I have a question to ask. What makes you most happy? I mean something to do, like dance which is obviously what makes me happy. What do you like to do most in the whole world?
Please post your comments.
Tomorrow I leave quite early for New Zealand so no blog entry. I hope to have internet there and we are taking my computer. However I need to pack soon.
Not to much happened today. Basically I just listened to audiobooks. I’m studying the way they write. It’s interesting and helpful with my own writing. I started another book yesterday. It only has four pages so far. Starting books is fun, even if I don’t finish an old one it’s all practice.
I’m packing tomorrow for New Zealand and giving my guinea pigs to Ali (my neighbour who’s a few years older than me). On Saturday we’re leaving at 8:30 for New Zealand.
Please give me some good songs to listen to.
HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY SHARON!
Today I went to Sharon’s birthday and saw the Spiderwick Chronicles movie.
I met Jasmine and Karen who are from her old school.
It was lots of fun. I think everyone loved it. Sharon liked my present so I’m happy.
Around all I did today was have my haircut. They straightened it for me though I’m not sure why considering how straight it is already. I guess to make it smooth.
My new CD SYTYCD was really good it has these songs on it and my favourites are in bold. Even if I don’t like all te songs they are good for dancing to so I will put them on my Ipod.
