I LOVE BALLET! I have ballet tomorrow and I had ballet yesterday and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. WHEE! GO BALLET! I’ve been practicing ALL week. Anyway I have to get all the hairspray out that has accumulated in my hair since Tuesday, oh great!

Ballet
Today I did Eisteddfod ballet. The details would bore anyone who isn’t a ballet fanatic like me.
So anyway, I finished two books in two days, I love the holidays for reading. Even if my holidays are finally getting interesting I still have more time to read. Whoo!

Shazzeh
Yay! Shaz came over today and she learnt how to handstand.
First I spotted her up onto a mattress (conveniently placed by the wall) though it took a while for her to figure out the lunge thing so that she got enough momentum. When she could do that by herself to my satisfaction (that means straight legs and coming down properly from the handstand, as well as keeping her shape so that I couldn’t sit on her back because it was so arched) she did a few on the rug with me spotting her but found she wasn’t confident enough. Therefore after doing a few more on the wall she did a few with me spotting her not quite touching the mat but against it in case she fell. Once she was confident with that she did a few herself. From there we put the mat down and she did some in front of it (the mat was too squishy to do them on) so that if she fell she would fall onto the mat. We videoed her so she could she what she was doing wrong. First she would do one on her own, then I would spot her on one. By the time she had to go home Sharon had completed two very good handstands and a huge progress in confidence with them.
Sharon has really impressed me, it took me around a month with no spotting or videoing. It took her a day with them. A remarkable achievement. Now we shall work on cartwheels, she won’t keep her legs straight or put her hands close enough Oh I love a challenge!
Luff you Shaz for putting up with me making you learn how to handstand.

More Shopping!
Today we went to the mall. This is a list of what we got:

Oh right that’s all.
That’s all because all we really were shopping for a bed for me. However I haven’t found one.
I’m going to do a sort of earthy tones bedroom as my purple and white classic is now a bit babyish.

Today I went shopping. I got some clothes and a book. Which I’m half-way through with.

Holidays…
Yay! For the first week of the holidays I get to go to my parents work and get handed around according to where everyone is going. So I wish I had more interesting holidays but everyone is busy I suppose. Or I need to get in contact first which obviously I can’t do. See why I’m happy? Yes I know, the sarcasm is just being ladled in.
Oh well next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I have extra Eisteddfod practice for August’s Eisteddfod so I’ll be occupied, oh glory. In the meantime I’ll get bundled along and smile, while saying I don’t mind at all. Still next week is some comfort even to me. I just wish my holidays were slightly more interesting. What’s everyone else been doing?

I suppose so far the best thing about the holidays is getting my dad home and making use of my ipod.
Scales
Are WAY too hard for me, I need to keep practicing! No I don’t mean music scales, I mean penche’s.
